（檳城23日訊）教育部副部長拿督卡馬拉納登強調，教育部的初中三評估考試（PT3）試卷，並沒有任何語法錯誤問題，他呼籲家長勿購買市面上有問題的歷年考卷參考書。
他今早出席理大的一座談會后，針對記者詢問，有出版商出版的歷年考卷參考書出現語法等問題一事，這么說。
他說，教育部不是發放出版准證給出版商的單位，因此沒權凍結出版商准證，不過，該部曾接獲投訴后，“訓斥”一些出版商。
“教育部無權對出版商採取行動，只能呼籲家長不要購買有問題的參考書，家長若是發現參考書有問題，就不應該購買。”
他說，只有家長不購買有問題參考書，有關出版商就無法在市場上立足。
他還反問記者：“那你向我建議，要如何停止這些（出版商出版語法錯誤的參考書）？”
他強調，教育部曾針對此事翻閱初中三評估考試（PT3）試卷，發現原本試卷並沒有任何錯誤，因此不知為何參考書上的試卷會出錯。
“若是試卷有問題，家長早就出聲了，但當時（考試后）都沒人提出問題。”
根據報導，市面上一些科學及數學科參考書出現語法問題，其中一本參考書“內容”，更是初中三評估考試（PT3）試卷。有關出版商負責人受訪時說，他們是100%採用教育部試卷，因此不應該出現問題。
