周二是3.8國際婦女節，諾貝爾獎在面子書上載了一段視頻，記錄了歷來獲得諾貝爾獎項的女性，以表揚她們的貢獻。
從1901年2015年，在諾貝爾獎頒發的百年歷史中，共有48位女性獲得諾貝爾獎桂冠，其中首位贏得諾貝爾獎的女科學家瑪麗·居里，是唯一獲得兩次諾貝爾獎的女性。她分別於1903年獲得物理學獎和1911年化學獎。
其他得獎女性包括特蕾莎修女、中國女科學家屠呦呦、諾貝爾獎最年輕得主巴基斯坦女學生馬拉拉、緬甸民主領袖翁桑蘇姬等。
